For 2019, the all-new, fourth-generation BMW X5 brings plenty of updated sheet metal, new technology, forward-thinking performance and designs, and a bigger attitude. It's an improvement on everything that we've loved about past BMW X5 SAVs, with off-road muscles that we've never seen. For 2019, trim levels include the BMW X5 xDrive40i and X5 xDrive50i. More trims will likely be offered in the coming model-year.




A CABIN EVEN MORE LUXURIOUS
Here's what you can look forward to in the all-new 2019 BMW X5: standard heated seats, a dual-opening tailgate function for convenience, two rows of comfortable luxury seating (a third row is an option), premium leather upholstery options in Merino or Vernasca, surround-sound premium audio, and up to 72.3 cubic feet of cargo space.


NEW BODY, NEW LOOK
With larger body dimensions riding on BMW's new CLAR global architecture platform, the 2019 BMW X5 is the biggest Boss in the history of the X5 nameplate. With that comes a larger, more aggressive grille and a newly available Off-Road Package--a first ever for the BMW X5 that will add rugged new exterior features.


NEW ENGINE OPTIONS AND POWER
Currently, xDrive all-wheel drive comes standard on all trim levels in the 2019 BMW X5 lineup. More powerful, but fewer, engine options, replace the last lineup. Now under the hood, you'll find either a 3.0-liter twin-turbo six-cylinder making 335 horsepower, or a 4.4-liter turbocharged V-8 engine good for 456 horsepower.


NEW TECHNOLOGY AND FEATURES
What else is new for 2019 for the BMW X5? A lot more standard features and available technology. New, tablet-like dual 12.3-inch screens come standard to give you total control over vehicle info, media and infotainment, and cabin controls. BMW's new Live Cockpit Professional improves on and replaces old, conventional center gauges. An available Driver Awareness Monitoring System plays a crucial part in upgrading safety on the road.
